Parents and caregivers of children can now get one-on-one access to Universal Parenting Place counselors, thanks to our partnerships with Church Health and Christ Community Health Services. Virtual counseling sessions for individuals are already an option for existing UPP clients, but beginning this month, people who are new to our programs will be able to attend telehealth sessions with a therapist, too. If you are a current or former UPP client and would like to schedule counseling, you should reach out to your counselor to resume sessions.
If you’re new to the UPPs and would like to speak with a counselor, we have two great options to offer:
- Molly Nelson, director of the Universal Parenting Place at Perea School, is available to help parents of children under 18. Please reach out to her at 901-701-2342.
- Tara Seay, site director of the Universal Parenting Place at Christ Community Health Services, is available to help parents of children of any age. Anyone interested should call 901-701-2873 or email the site’s Hospitality and Community Outreach Coordinator Brittany Hart at Brittany.Hart@ChristCHS.org for details.
