Universal Parenting Places and Coronavirus
Like so many around the world, we are closely monitoring news about the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a rapidly evolving situation, and has caused the ACE Awareness Foundation and its partners to make some immediate changes to the way we operate and the services our Universal Parenting Places are able to provide.
Per the recommendations of the Tennessee Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization, the ACE Awareness Foundation main office will be closed through at least the end of March. However, our incredible staff will continue to work remotely on projects and programs related to our mission. In addition, our partners at Perea School, Christ Community Health Services, Knowledge Quest, and Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women have moved to curtail or suspend operations during the ongoing health crisis, which means that services and activities at the Universal Parenting Places are cancelled until further notice. Counseling services, however, are still available by phone for all current and former clients. If you are a former UPP client, feel free to reach out to your counselor to resume sessions.
This is a time of unprecedented change and uncertainty for all of us, and we appreciate your patience. We promise to update you via email and social media as the situation evolves.
